We’re looking for curious, talented individuals to join and strengthen our Operations Analytics and Data Science team.

As a Senior Data Scientist - Logistics Optimization, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy data science and optimization algorithms to enhance logistics operations, such as efficiently grouping store orders, optimizing order picking, and ensuring products are transported sustainably
• Leverage cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines to continuously integrate and deploy scalable and robust solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate complex data insights into practical solutions that improve overall efficiency
• Effectively communicate complex ideas to various audiences, from technical teams to business stakeholders
• Work in multidisciplinary product teams to tackle real-world logistics challenges
• Share your expertise and coach other team members

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience and interest)
• Experience working in logistics or related fields, with a talent for solving complex supply chain puzzles
• A strong understanding of Operations Research and its real-world application to logistics
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem-solving with a focus on getting things done
• Proficiency in Python and the Python data science ecosystem.
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with modern software development practices (IDEs, Unit Testing, Version Control, CI/CD)
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Knowledge of a systems programming language (such as C++ or Rust) is a plus
