At Albert Heijn, it's possible to follow a BBL (work-based learning) traject at levels 2, 3, and 4. Especially for you, an accelerated program has been developed. This allows you to obtain a recognized vocational diploma in a shortened period. During the BBL program at Albert Heijn, you combine learning and working. This means you work four days a week and study one day a week. We offer you a contract for at least 20 hours per week. Additionally, you will be paid per hour according to our collective labor agreement (CAO). This way, you can gain work experience, earn money, and achieve a recognized diploma.
This education course requires to write and speak Dutch fluently.
With work experience and a diploma in hand, you have an ideal start in the job market. Albert Heijn employs a large number of staff in the upper years and/or taking final exams. For this reason, Albert Heijn offers all employees in the upper years free (Dutch spoken) school and exam training. This allows all our colleagues to start preparing well in advance for school exams (SE) and central exams (CE).
The exam training requires to write and speak Dutch fluently.

As an expert, you continuously develop based on your personal development needs. The Academy provides you with development opportunities such as training and inspiration. However, it starts with you as a professional; you take the initiative and actively seek opportunities to excel. Moreover, you do this together as a learning community, inspiring and sharing knowledge with each other from both within and outside Albert Heijn. At Albert Heijn, you can continue learning.
