In our stores.
In every store, there are various positions, and there is always one that suits you best. For example, you can advise customers, assist them in finding products, or maintain the order in the store. At Albert Heijn, we always strive to do our work in the very best way and provide optimal service towards our customers. So, if you enjoy good food and drinks and like helping others, then working at Albert Heijn is the right fit for you!
What does this mean for you?
Aiming for a clean store. Make it work.
As a Quality Control associate, together with your colleagues from various departments, you ensure that the store is clean and safeāfor both customers and everyone working there. Your tasks involve cleaning the store, various offices, and the warehouse. You'll monitor the fridge temperature and check if all cleaning tasks for the day are completed. In between, you'll sweep the warehouse, replenish coffee beans and milk in all the coffee machines around the store, and change a trash bag somewhere. After lunch, you tidy up the staff area and manage the clean laundry.
This is the perfect (part-time) job for someone who is meticulous, pays attention to detail, works well in a team, and has a strong sense of responsibility. You'll maintain close contact with your manager regarding your tasks' progress and contribute ideas for improvements to keep the store tidy and clean. You'll also enjoy leaving the floor sparkling clean with the cleaning machine. Experience in a supermarket is not necessary but would be beneficial. The most important thing is that you're enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. As your work covers the entire store, you'll quickly build a rapport with many colleagues and feel like an integral part of the team.
Your schedule is flexible and can be arranged in consultation with your manager. Of course, you can also occasionally swap shifts with a colleague if it suits you better.
What will you earn?
Your salary is determined according to the collective labor agreement (CAO). If you work 12 hours or less per week, you'll receive an all-in hourly wage. If you work 13 hours or more (up to 40) per week, you'll receive an hourly wage according to the CAO and will be entitled to vacation or advisory hours. During an interview, we'd be happy to explain this to you. Also, check the salary calculator on this site!
